New Friends

I had my doubts, but believe it or not we have made new friends! Yay! 

We got really lucky and have a good number of kids Lucy's age for us to fill our days with! 

They have been so welcoming and have already invited us to many fun things. 

This is Pearl. She is a sweet little girl. 

We went to Burke lake Park to ride the carousel and the train with our new friends. It was a blast!

Then we hit up the Zoo (for the 3rd time in a month) with our friends the Marchants. 

Whitney and Lucy are the same age. We loved seeing all the animals! 

We had another fun day with Pearl. We went to an awesome splash pad park in the morning. Then I took the girls to see Monster University in the cheap theatre that afternoon. Girls are so fun! 

And sometimes you get to a new place and make an awesome fast friend and she finds out she is moving! So sad! I was glad we got to meet Natalie and her cute family! Her cute 5YO threw themselves a "going away" party on Labor day out at the Church Parking lot. It was cute!

We are doing a Preschool this year with 4 other little girls in our ward. Each mom takes a turn at their house teaching a lesson on a fun topic. It's 2 days a week for 3 hours and Lucy LOVES it! (and I love the break too!)To kick off the season we started with a Field Trip to this beautiful house on George Washington's Mt. Vernon Estate that has a free children's garden. It was beautiful and the kids loved exploring. We loved getting to know these girls and their moms a little better. It will be a fun year! 

We had Lucy's little friend Sebastian over. He is a little ball of energy and it just so adorable! 

Thank goodness for great friends! We have been blessed!
