Day with Nolan and Grandma

Grandma had a fun day planned for Lucy and Nolan!
Lucy's first Build a Bear experience to get Pinky Pie the pony!
We had never done it before and it was quite the experience! It was so fun picking out her qualities, sounds, stuffing her and making a wish on her heart! It's really cute!

Bath time!! Cousin Nolan got a cute doggie!

Thank you Grandma!

On rollerskates with a leash! It was so fun for them to pull them around all day!

Then we had lunch at Olive Garden where for once I could order something off the menu for Lucy and even more surprising...she ate it...all of it! yay!

Then a quick trip to Chuckie Cheese where Lucy got to ride her favorite Horsie.
And see her favorite mouse!
(really not sure why she likes him so much...but she does!)

Lucy got spoiled rotten with her cousin! What a treat!

Mother's Day

May 12th, 2013

It's just like my husband to take a weekend that is supposed to be all about him and make it all about me and Lucy! He is so sweet! The day after the Taylor Swift concert/Lucy's bday and Erik's graduation (ya, it was a crazy weekend) was Mother's Day.

The Men made all us girls Breakfast.

It was so nice to get to go to church with Erik's Mom, sisters and especially his beautiful Grandma Fox who was here visiting from Utah. What wonderful ladies there are in the Fox Family.
It was a beautiful, relaxing Sunday.

Taylor Swift

If you find Taylor Swift anything BUT amazingly wonderful and magical you may want to skip this post before you puke! :)  (no mocking allowed)
Please indulge my inner 12 year old.

May 11th 2013 -possibly the best night of my life! ;)

Back on my birthday Erik's parents gave me tickets to the Taylor Swift concert. Erik explained that it was also from him but not for my birthday but a graduation present. I thought it was so sweet he wanted to give ME a graduation present. Really? These have been the best few years of my life, I should be thanking him!
I was soooo excited for the concert! Although I will admit I was a little worried that it may not live up to my very high expectations  I watched her Fearless concert video on Netflix and it looked un real. I was hoping it would live up to that!
So first we met Tay Swift herself. ;) I wish!

Ed Sheeran opened for her. He was AMAZING!
I only know one of his songs (A-team) and usually I don't really enjoy a person unless I know their music but he was so talented you had to enjoy it! He was very entertaining and  the technicality of his music ability was outrageous!

Getting pumped for Taylor to come out!
Funny story- as we were walking in Erik is like "Why is everyone wearing red?"
I replied- "Well this is her Red tour- it's the name of her album"
Erik- "oh GREAT!"
HA! Poor guy was slightly embarrassed to be wearing red that night! ;)
(he is just secretly a hard core fan!)

We had to entertain ourselves while we waited for her to come out.
What's funny is that when I was putting these pics together I noticed the mom/daughter above us are doing the same thing! ha! Oh thank you technology for allowing us to entertain ourselves with our own faces! :)

And here she comes! Our view of the stage was perfect! We were high up but near the front!
I'm slightly embarrassed to admit I had to fight back tears when she first came on stage.
I just love her so much! I think she is a really good person and so loving and good to her fans.
It was so exciting!

All the awesome close up shots on the screen!
I love how talented she is! It's not just standing on stage playing her guitar and singing.
She had like 10 costume changes, set changes, dancing, and she played the guitar, banjo and piano!
And I would like to set the record straight- she is actually really good live. I think she has improved in this area. She was really good!

The other thing she does well is move ALL over the arena. At one point her back up dancers were carrying her on their shoulders on the floor going around the perimeter giving high fives!?! Crazy!

The little stage at the back end of the floor. She sang a few songs here and the platform would rise up and slowly rotate.

Then, my favorite part she was on a platform in the air over the whole crowd. It was awesome! She really tried to reach out to every member of the crowd and make us all feel involved! I loved it!

At the end again on a platform out reached over the whole crowd.

I know it's silly and I am way to obsessed for my age but I don't even care!
I LOVE her. It totally surpassed my expectations  It was beyond what I could have even imagined! I love her music, her talent, her silly songs, her enthusiasm for what she does and for her fans.
I felt it all and it was a night I will never forget!
Thank you so much to Erik's parents and my awesome husband who sat danced ;) through it all!

Lucy's Birthday Party!

We celebrated Lucy's birthday with the Foxes while family was in town for Graduation.
I pushed and pushed for a "My little Pony" party or a "princess" party but Lucy stood her ground and eventually won with a Deigo Party.
She LOVED all her diego decorations and especially her cake.
She was in heaven and it was as simple as could be.
She got some fun presents and just loved celebrating! Especially with cousins Colton and Nolan. She has gotten really attached to them lately and having them there made her day just perfect!

VCU Dental Graduation

It was a beautiful ceremony at Centre Stage Theatre

The Hooding Ceremony

HE DID IT! I am so proud of him!

His new Boss and sweet Grandma Fox!

Erik with 3 out of 4 Siblings.

The whole crew! We appreciated all the support from family.

Erik and one of his best buds- Brian Hone.

Chris Tracy, Aaron Laird, Josh Gibbons, Cory Layton, Erik Fox and Josh Crosby
The whole crew of Doctors! ;)
(minus Brian)

Hugging another bestie- Josh Gibbons.
These boys have been through alot together over the last 4 years.

Group hug!
Possibly my favorite picture of the day.

We celebrated with a fancy dinner at the beautiful Bookbinders.
We had a private room! It was a perfect setting.

The graduate with his Cake!

A wife of a Dentist who we know in the area made this for me! It was so kind of her!
It turned out amazing and tasted delicious too!

Look how real that toothbrush looks! ;)

It was a great dinner with awesome company!

Erik's oldest Brother Larry made it up for the Dinner.

It was really special to have all the Fox kids together.
It doesn't happen all that much, and when it does there are kids running around everywhere!
So it was really nice to just be with the adults.
We sure love these super supportive siblings! We know it was a sacrifice to come and we are grateful they did! (and that their spouses back home let them...we missed you Lisa, Tay and Mindy!)

Aren't they cute?

And kinda crazy! ;)
We had a fun night hanging out at our house after! They are all so fun!

It was a great day!
I am so glad to be married to this incredibly loving, handsome, smart and talented man!
I know we have a great life ahead!

We went home and celebrate with Lucy!
Her gift to her Dad was play doh Dr Drill and Fill.
