Arches

We decided to run away with our good friends last weekend to Arches National Park. It was one of the most amazing trips ever. I really am not a huge nature/ hiking fan but i saw some of the most beautiful sights that I have ever seen. The sites were gorgeous. The weather was perfect, i loved every minute of the trip. My only regret was that I didn't have my nice cameras memory card!! So these pictures are not fantastic but they are what we got. I highly recommend you taking a quick trip to Arches if you have never been. We are sure glad we went before we leave Utah.
All of us under the Delicate Arch!
These are our way cute friends Rachel and Dave Young. They got some good pictures out here! :)

SPOONS!!!!

We love playing this classic card game in a little bit of an un-conventional way....

Playing on the ground with the spoons on the bed!

The finalists...Erik and Rachel battling for the last spoon. We all received many battle wounds and got a little closer to each other that night! ;) We stayed up past 1 am playing games and hot tubbin in our hotel that night. We had so much fun!

We started recording our spoon games here are 2 different views for your enjoyment! :)

My new love

I got this amazing die-cut machine for Christmas. This week i finally pulled it out and started to play with it and...I LOVE IT! Erik was like "I think i am going to lose you to that machine for the next few months!" He was right. I haven't even begun to learn everything you can do with it but for now i figured out how to cut and to draw things.
This machine is one you hook up to your computer and instead of printing an image or words you send the job to the silhouette machine and it cuts it out for you! Awesome huh? You can use any fonts you have on your computer and the software comes with some basic images or you can buy more images on an individual basis. You can un group the image so you can just print parts of it to layer and use different colors of paper etc. You can also attach a pen to it and it will draw the image..like i did below.
You can use cardstock for scrapbooking etc but you can also use vinyl letter....pretty sweet. So i am discovering more and more with it each day but all i can say is "I'm in love, i'm in love and i dont care who knows it!" :)

p.s. (Makes you want to move back doesnt it Tia? Please do!)

Mmmm Mmmm Good!

I asked for a mini muffin tin for Christmas so i could make these delightful little treats. I love them because they are simple, cute and soo delicious!
Just take your favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough recipe...and i would 1/2 the chips. Roll little balls and bake them for like 8 min. in the little muffin tin. As soon as they get out of the oven push a peanut butter cup in the center. Wait a while and pop them out. Sooo good, tinsy and cute!

Another great deal.

For all of this....

I paid $9.71

At some point though time is money...i did spend about 2 hours printing and clipping coupons and then another hour and half in the aisles of Albertson's with my friend trying to figure it all out. I still think it is worth it for now...until i have to do that with 3 kids in the cart...not so worth it then.

Bringing in the New Year...

With Wii and Fondue....just the way i like it!

Cute Fox Grandkids for Christmas

For Christmas this year we went to Virginia with Erik's Family. We had a great time visiting with all the family. I wish i would have taken more pictures of Erik and I on Christmas but i was too busy snapping shots of all these adorable Fox grandkids. Arnt they all so cute? Here are some of my favorites! Merry Christmas!
