So i finally got a new SLR Camera. And let me just start by saying...I LOVE IT! I dont leave home without it. It is great. I went with the Nikon D60. And just in case you were wondering yes..it is the one in the commercial with Aston Kutcher. Yeah...that really sold me on it..i mean i figured if Ashton uses it...so should I!? No but really, i did my research and this seemed like our best option. I got a great deal through Costco. It has 10.2 megapix and it came with 2 pretty good lens' and a bag. It's fabulous! So here is a sample of a few pictures i have taken with it. 
Please dont mock...i shouldnt post these when i have cousins who do this for a living. And..if you think these photos are good well all I do is use the auto settings and click a button for now. So this in no way reflects my photography abilites. Good or Bad. I dont know what half the buttons do and if you think i am reading that thick manual your crazy. So for now i get much better pictures than my old camera with just the click of a button. I look forward to taking my class in the fall and learning more about it.

Class in the fall? WHat are you doing? One of those community ones? That sounds great, I should take one, or you can just pass it all to me as you learn?? Ha ha, way to go on the new camera
Isn't it amazing what a good camera can do? I'm taking a class from a professional photographer, I love it. Until I took my class I just used the auto setting too.

Yeah! Those look great and i can't wait to hear all about your class and see all the great pics. Hopefully i'll be taking one real soon and we can hopefully figure some of those buttons out together :)

Hey girl I think they are beautiful. Sometimes professionals can be way to picky. I personally love amateur shots. Keep snapping.
