Halloween Overload!

Call us pathetic parents but the goal this year was to go to as many PRE Halloween functions so that we didn't have to buy any candy and we could just hand out the candy Lucy received from said events Halloween night.

 Brilliant, right? 

First up: Stonebridge Shopping center Treat fest! 

This year costume shopping went a little something like this- "go downstairs and pick your favorite princess dress up and put it on!" If you can't tell she picked Belle! 

Next, Erik's Parents wards Trunk of Treat party. Score!

We had a great time going with Aunt Laura

Our ward just did a "Fall Festival" party instead of a trunk or treat. 

It was really festive complete with Chili cookoff, country dancing, games, a pumpkin patch and hay rides. 

Lucy could have ridden that hay all day long! :) 

Third- A neighboring ward's Trunk or Treat. I swear we were legitimately invited to this! 

Getting a little tired of saying cheese for the camera! 

Lucy also got to wear her costume to a Preschool Halloween Party!

Wear a costume get a "scary" pancake at Ihop day. Milking it! 

It was probably the day before Halloween but we did eventually get around to carving our own pumpkins! 

A tradition I quite enjoy! 

And last, but not least, the Big day had arrived!

We were lucky, and got to have Grandma and Grandpa Fox as well as Aunt Laura come hang with us that night. Lucy was a pro by now at Trick or Treating and loved every minute of it! We lasted just over an hour before it started to rain and Lucy began to complain of walking. Perfect amount of time!
 Check out this girls haul! I helped her organize it like I used to do as a kid! She was one sugared out girl! And yes, if you were wondering we didn't get many trick or treaters as I guessed and we were able to get by with passing out all our reject candy from the past week! Score! ;)
