This day each of the families went and did there own little day trips.
My family went to Old town San Diego.
First stop- The Mormon Battalion Museum.
They have revamped this and it's actually really cool. It was fun to see!
Lucy and me panning for Gold!
All day Lucy was running around the city asking "where is Diego and Alicia, and baby Jaguar?"
I guess San Diego was a bit misleading.
Exploring some shops
Cool trees! Funny I started taking pictures of these and then one by one people would stop to see what I was taking a picture of and then they would take a picture! ha! pretty soon a crowd of people were standing there taking pictures of these cool trees.
We had dinner at this yummy Mexican place!
After dinner my parents and the little kids went home with a pit stop to see the Sea Lions.
Where Lucy was once again a little confused and was looking for Simba.
And the"Big Kids" went to a Padres game
We got cheap seats out in center field. It was a cool area with little benches and grass and then below was a big sandbox for kids to play in. It was a fun atmosphere!
I couldn't love these people more!
Although they were a bit embarrassing at all the dancing parts. Not to mention the intense over the top cheering/screaming. They were being so dramatic about what big Padre "fans" they were...that night.
But for one night, we were die hards! In fact it was like the 10th inning and was so late and we were getting tired but we had moved up to better seats and Brigham begged us to stay. So we said, if we get on the jumbo tron then we will stay. What do you know the crazy dancing paid off and we got on the jumbo tron after 10 long innings! That was exciting! So we stayed for one more...or maybe two and the Padres won! It was a night to remember for sure!
Trying to take a cool Panorama..I'm really bad at them.
