We Bought a House

Somewhere and somehow in all this craziness, WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! 

I snapped a few pictures at our home inspection but not of all rooms for some reason. 

Soon I will take some pictures with our stuff in it- but you don't want to see that right now! ;)

It's a 3 bedroom, 2 full/2 half bath, 3 level townhome. 

It's located in Woodbridge Virginia in the Lake Ridge Community. 

We looked all over Farifax county closer to Erik's office for a Townhome to buy in our price range and it was proving very difficult especially in this crazy market! We all but gave up to just rent and then we thought to cross the river into Prince William county a little farther to see if it had anything to offer. 

We found the prices dropped drastically for the same size homes, still in great school zones and was still only 30 minutes from the office. 

We checked out many homes in the Lake Ridge community (which is huge) and this house was BY FAR in the best condition and the most space. I drove up the day after it came on the market to look at it. The next day we put in our offer with 4 other people! I was sure we wouldn't get it! But thanks to our awesome agent we scored it! I was shocked! We pretty much just held our breath the next month hoping nothing would fall through. We had to move out of our apartment in Richmond and store our stuff in storage. We went to Utah and our agent closed on our home while we were gone. When we got that news it was so exciting! We were official homeowners. We feel so blessed we were able to get into a townhome and into such a great area. We have already feel in love with the Lake Ridge area and are so happy to be here.
