We DID IT!! (ok, Erik did it) I insisted that we celebrated even if the budget was small. So we teamed up with our favorite Gibbons and headed to VA beach for a night. It was bittersweet. We both had so much going on with moving and packing but it was nice to take a quick break and just be together one last time. These are some of my favorite people on the planet and always will be. We had a great little celebration!
We beached, we ate, we strolled the boardwalk, shopped and of course got treats!
We just hung out at night playing games and chatting and then around midnight decided it looked so nice out on the beach so we ran down to be silly! We had races...and then ran into a crab! We screamed and kept stepping on more imaginary crabs...haha!
Next day we hit the beach one more time and kissed the last 4 years goodbye and went home to face reality. It was the beginning of the end! I am so glad we got these last moments with the Gibbons!
