Note- believe it or not this post as well as the ones below and above it were all on the say day.
It was crazy-Tis the season, right?
Our Stake held a open house to come and celebrate Christmas.
Erik was at a baptism and I wasn't sure I would go but I am really, really glad I did.
As you can see below Lucy love the live animals they had outside for the children.
Then we went inside to do the tour. They had set up in each room a different scene from the Nativity story with live characters and elaborate scenes. They took you in order from room to room hearing and seeing the story. It touched me so much. I fought tears the whole time. It really made the story come alive and I felt the spirit so strong bearing testimony to me that this was true. That it all really happened and it was because the Savior came to the world to live and die for us. For me!
I felt so peaceful as I helped my little girl reverently walk from room to room and explain to her the things she was seeing and feeling. It was really special to me and helped me focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
