The completed projects below have been in the works or at least in my head for over a year now.
Seriously, they have been on my "when I get to it To Do list" forever!
Well Monday I just got out the spray paint cans and went at it.
I guess I figured while I was doing one I should just do them all.
I am so happy to finally have these projects done and they are some of my favorite things I have ever made!
Subway art. This project intimated me like crazy!
I wanted it to be somewhat of a family rules sign/family motto.
I stewed over what words to use and finally decided what better phrases than those of our favorite primary songs. That's exactly what I want to be our family theme and what my kids see as the things we live by.
I LOVE, LOVE how it turned out.
Big thanks to Jana and Wayne for the use of there machine and help with this project.
I love that it's uniquely mine and I designed all the words myself!
If you want one of your very own I think my Uncle is selling some...message me if interested!
This is one of the few projects where I didn't actually copy someone...completely. ;)
I love the use of shutters and I knew I wanted an alphabet strung up in Lucy's room,
so it just came together to string them between these shutters!
The cute letter cards can be found here
The coloring of these pictures are a little off (the lighting in Lu's room is terrible)
But you get the idea- I did a grey glaze on the shutters and I think they turned out fabulous!
I know I am like the last person on planet earth to have a magnet board
I have it up in Lucy's "playroom" (corner of the liv. room) for her to use for alphabet activities.
I love the color!
I hope to find a fabric and cover the metal- seen here
Really simple but I love the idea of using an old cupboard for home decor.
This one will hang Lucy's art work and will also go in her playroom corner.
DONE, DONE, and DONE! (Phew!)
-Erik is thrilled to get to hang all these up knowing he will be taking them down in 9 months ;)
What projects have you been doing lately?
