Erik's 27th Birthday

Lucy and I had all day to get ready for the birthday celebrations. We started off the day by making Daddy some cards. 

We were so excited when Erik got home from school early. We decided to switch up the plan, cancel our babysitter and just head out to dinner early and bring Lucy. 

Erik choose this fantastic restaurant called Conch Republic Rocketts. 

It was right on the James river downtown in Richmond, the atmosphere couldn't have been better and the food was amazing too! It is like seafood/Cajun place and we would highly recommend it! Erik got Jambalaya and I got a pulled pork sandwich.

She stayed so entertained by just playing with my water. Good thing it was really warm outside because she got soaked! 

 Back at home our neighbor fairy dropped off Erik's present for us. I found a steal of a deal on this bike seat for Lucy. I was soo excited for this present. I knew he would love it! It was a total surprise and now him and Lucy can take bike rides together! We had to throw it on the bike and try it out right away.

Not sure what Lucy thinks about it...but Erik was stoked! 

 Then we headed inside for birthday cake. 

I thought it was a pretty perfect birthday, hopefully Erik would agree. Happy Birthday Erik! We love you so much!
