It's become a family tradition to go pick apples at Carter Mountain in Charlottesville every September. This year we went with our good friends the Gibbons. As always it was the perfect kick off to fall. Sunny warm weather, crisp apples, beautiful views, delicious doughnuts and cider, and amazing people to enjoy it with. Here is our day in pictures.

When we got back home Erik found this awesome caterpillar. We knew we had to go get Lydia (and let's be honest Emily too) because it would make her day! It was the greenest, fattest, coolest caterpillar I had ever seen!

It's a good thing Clara doesn't kiss like that because she kisses with her tongue! Looks like a ton of fun!
