September hits and I immediacy feel the urge to go pick me some apples! Charlottesville and Carter Mountain Apple picking has forever changed me and we now treat apple picking like it's own holiday! Unfortunately, it was no Carter Mountain, but Hartland Orchard filled the void enough.
We met aunt Jennifer and cousin Nolan out there.
The kids loved finding the perfect apples!
the fruit flies were everywhere and that was a bit annoying though.
We did some quick picking!
I can't do apples without getting my hands on some Apple Doughnuts!
I heard the Apple Shop (a local mom and pop deli style restaurant) had some good ones so we made the pit stop! Boy was it worth it!

We ate our hearts out with apple crisp, apple bread, caramel apples, and just apples apples. :)
