To avoid the $30 tolls (cheapo's!) we took a bit of a longer route to Chicago.
We drove through the beautiful West Virginia, on to Ohio, Indiana, and then Illinois.
It took about 15 hours and was actually pretty fun.
It helps to have a really good little traveler! ;)
Along the way our little Toyota Corolla aka- "Little Boy Blue" hit 100000 miles!
I like to think that it was his birthday...i wanted to stop for a cupcake, sing happy birthday and have the a.c. blow out the candle.
But Erik thought that was all nonsense and it was just too much work!
Sorry little boy blue!
We did document the big moment though.
